Hi,
I'm Débora Vieira

I am a senior product designer with over 10 years of experience in digital design and 7+ years working as product designer.

What sets me apart is the ability to work fluidly across both dimensions: the strategic and systemic, as service blueprints, operational flows, cross-functional alignment, stakeholder management workshop facilitation, UX research all the way to the craft side, as high-fidelity prototyping, interface design and contribuiting to Design Systems. I'm comfortable navigating highly ambiguous scenarios and translating them into structured thinking, clear future-vision narratives, and scalable solutions.

I actually started designing when I was 15 years old, building on Blogspot, WordPress and Tumblr. I even got a client back then!

I was part of the Interaction Future organization for two years, an initiative that leveraged design as a catalyst for social change. The program connected individuals from minority groups seeking career transitions with mentors to develop impactful social projects.

I contributed to mentoring support materials, training program design, mentorship sessions, and problem-solving activities, as well as marketing materials, branding, project promotion, and organizational planning, including partnership fostering.

2020-2021

I worked within the Support and Services department, a multidisciplinary team spanning Product & Tech and Customer Experience (CX), where we focused on improving processes and optimizing support and customer experience metrics while addressing complex operational and end-user challenges.

Product Designer at FGV

2021-2024

Experience as a Product Designer in the Literacy Rails social initiative, a collaboration between Fundação Vale and Fundação Getúlio Vargas, in partnership with municipal and state governments in Maranhão, focused on improving learning management and literacy. I contributed across the entire design process, from discovery and user research to delivering visual assets.

2009-2011

I've had the chance to work as a Product Designer in a Consulting Agency, catering to clients from diverse industries. While my main focus revolved around visual delivery, I actively engaged in numerous projects right from their discovery phase. Moreover, I played a key role in conceptualizing and contributing to mentoring initiatives, as well as conducting internal courses.

2024- Today

Senior Product Designer at Arco

I was 15 years old when I created my first designs. During the peak of the blogging era, I designed my own templates while learning CSS and HTML along the way. At that time, I also worked with my first client: a writer to whom I offered my design services.

2013-2018

I work on creating AI solutions to optimize educational content creation processes. Currently, I’m helping build a system from scratch that is set to transform and impact editorial workflows.
